about

This track is an older song that Sean and I used to play when GOMI was a 2 piece band. During pre production we completely gave the song a new feel and added a bunch of new parts.

We wanted the song to be more driving and sound more like the band "Quicksand". The last vocal part of the song was added the day I went in to record vocals for the song. Originally it was just a jammed out ending with no vocals.

Basically the song is about arguing with a spouse over religion.

This is one of the songs we love to play out live. It's a rocker.

lyrics

Tides move without the moon, weigh your options
Fate has no meaning so doubt, old behavior

I don't know, what I know and even though I

Are you low, are you low enough to see me?
Down here inside of you, I'm low now won't you save me.

Place me down covered in doubt, doubt your saviors
and hate, hate your lovers the day wash over my

Thoughts then fade, either way lets debate why.

Are you low, are you low enough to see me?
Down here inside of you, I'm low now won't you save me.

I worry that I'll live to see you on and off again
But you think I'm overrated it's time to shed your skin.
