This EP was recorded some time in 1998 in Cleveland OH. Our drummer Brad's dad had connections at a TV studio. So we headed up there and recorded in one of the sound studios. It was a really cool place, the studios were placed in a giant circle inside the building.

At the time The Atomic Hellcats had gone through some drummer changes and Mark was writing all of the material. The music didn't fit the old Atomic Hellcats style. So we wanted to lay something down to help us book like minded shows.

I never had a quality recording of this EP. I only had a cassette version. So these tracks you're listening to are from a cassette that had been played a million times, warped, and very low quality. I was able to convert that cassette to digital. It's rough, raw, but a cool part of history.

I would go on to record Save Face and Fallen short with GOMI mid 2000s.

The Sometimes demo track. Jim and I had a friend Chris who recorded the Hellcats first EP. We went up into his attic one night and recorded 3 demo songs just for fun.

Jim mentioned he wrote a song and wanted to lay it down. I was like "cool, lets hear it". He said the word "sometimes". That's all he had. "sometimes". lol. So I quickly threw together the music on the spot. Jim didn't know what or how he wanted to sing, so I jumped on the mic and put something down like a scratch vocal. Chris played the drums live on the keyboard. What you hear is what you get. Another rough and raw demo track that never saw the light of day.
